Some of the most sacred moments I’ve experienced in Scotland have come in a kitchen full of laughter and flour dust. Footprints is a ministry for adults with special needs, but more than that—it’s a place where joy, purpose, and belonging meet.
Each week, we bake together, craft together, learn together—and, most importantly, laugh together. There’s something holy about helping someone crack an egg for the first time or hearing them say, “Look what I made!” Confidence blooms when people are given space to grow.
These aren’t just life skills—they’re soul-deep moments where the love of Christ is expressed without a single sermon. It’s in the way we show up, the way we cheer one another on, and the way we remind every person: You matter. You are seen. You are loved.
If you’ve ever wondered what missions looks like, sometimes it looks like cookies and card games and conversations that leave a mark on the heart—footprints of faith that last far beyond the moment.
